Аннотация: A passionate philosophy graduate, Winsome Lee, invites us to a challenging dialogue regarding Cosmopolitanism and multiculturalism. Thick Cosmopolitanism, as a social and psychological challenge for restoring social justice, seems to be promising due to its unconditional support from individualistic nations. Yet, the whole thick cosmopolitan claim depends upon the Western Individualistic framework and democratic thinking. If Cosmopolitanism is plausible, it should have worked in the non-individualistic nations too. However, this is not the case. The extensive effects from Western legality suggests that legal equality does not necessarily translate or equal to social equality. Instead, it suggests that the social meaning of justice for these non-individualistic countries is meant to be hierarchical. Given the current global situation, it is always tempting to conclude that probably human race is better off having a communal life style, running by communalism. Thus, it is feasible for us to engage into the thinking inquiry in order to try shed light for a way out for the current situation.
