      Аннотация: 'International Labour Stndards in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Sector' is a book that makes a foray into the uncharted areas of the industry. Nigeria is viewed in the comity of nations through the lens of the activities in the oil and gas sector. Consequently much literature exists in relation to the rot and corruption in the sector. Consideration of the extent of compliance with international labour standards in the sector by the multinational companies is thus banished to the background. The book fills this gap. Arguably conditions of workers in the sector, given the high level of unemployment, are better than those of other sectors. The book explores the low level of compliance with the standards in relation to Nigerian workers vis-?-vis non-Nigerian colleagues in the sector.
