Аннотация: This study was conducting to compare the social status of emigrant and non-emigrant families of Chak Kamala. The questionnaire as the tool of data collection was used. The researcher used probability sampling for selecting respondents. So by using sample estimation formula she selected 175 households for collected information. In the current study, researcher used proportional method and then selected the number of respondent from each stratum. By this 85 households selected from emigrant’s households and 90 from non-emigrant’s households. Then from selected household’s researcher was taken interview from head of households. In the current study researcher used Mann Whitney-U for quantitative questions, and Chi-square tests for homogeneity for few qualitative questions. This study shows that emigrant families lived happy and luxury life where as the non-emigrant families lived an average life. The mostly the emigrant’s families provide education to their children and family members from private educational institutions which are more expansive than public institution where as non-emigrant’s families members were enrolled.
