Аннотация: This book is an outcome of detailed study on drainage morphometry and tectonic geomorphology of Tuirini watershed. The geomrphometry and tectonic geomorphology is the newly emerging fields of Earth Sciences which deals with the important aspects such as exogenetic and endogenetic processes of the Earth. The Mizoram part of the Indo-Mynmar range of mountains which are geo-dynamically active tectonic movements frequently noticed by seismic activity and landslides affecting the society with variable magnitudes in the Northeast Indian part. The main emphasis in the present study is to understand the tectonic activity with the help of drainage parameters, mapping of geomorphic features and tectonic indices. The entire work is presented in six chapters in this book related to drainage morphometry and tectonic geophology of the Tuirini watershed. The main chapters in this book are the drainage morphometry, geology and tectonic geomorphic study of the Tuirini watershed. The various methods used in this study are compared with the same studies carried out by earlier workers elsewhere. This book is going to be useful for the researchers and also students in the fields of Earth sciences.
