      Аннотация: Many adults; both teachers and parents do not read meaning into children's drawing. They either see it as a fun or a creative potential in the child, but it goes beyond that.Children can express themselves through drawing depending on a situation, therefore children's communication skills can be developed and nurtured through the means of drawing. This book seeks to investigate the role of drawing in promoting children's communication skills at the preschool level, how adult see and understand children's drawing. In addition, the book analyzes the role of teachers in enhancing children's communication skills.Teachers approach to drawing as a communication tool has the tendency of developing children holistically at the preschool level.The analysis should help read meaning into whatever children scribble or put on paper as drawing.It should also be useful to children in early childhood centres, all professionals in the field of early childhood education as well as parents.
