Аннотация: The education system is like waves on the seashore, with the constant movement of the goal post and new government policies. It is difficult to evaluate the effectiveness of these changes before another ‘new’ thing is introduced. This book was written to explore the questions, “What are the benefits and barriers to implementing a positive learning culture, within a school, both for students and staff? What happens when teaching focussed on strategies which resulted in profound learning instead of shallow learning? What happens if teachers and students engaged in collaborative learning within the classroom?” This book, therefore, provides a new way of evaluating the learning of students and staff within a school. This book would be useful for teachers and school leaders, who want to learn an alternative way of using coaching and AfL, where the needs of the students are truly at the heart of the learning experience. It shows how students develop leadership skills and their attainment and progress increases, and how teachers can have a better work-life balance, which is good for their wellbeing.
