Аннотация: The book has been developed to improve the youth status in Bangladesh focused on mind set adaption of Saemaul spirit for accelerating their mental and physical development. In Bangladesh nearly one fourth of the total population is youth. Due to positive guidance, involvement of unplanned activities, lack of diligence, self-help and cooperation now they are treating as a burden of our nation. The objectives of the study are to review the strategies regarding youth in Bangladesh, know the status of youth population, education attainment, employment over the time period (1999-2013), and also develop guidelines for changing mind set of youth for their overall economic development by using Samuel Sprit. Based on National Labor Force Survey, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), PEST, SWOT analysis and information collected on Saemaul Undong (SMU) of Republic of South Korea, this book has been prepared. For combating extreme poverty and hunger, this youth force can be empowered through diligence, self-help and cooperation of SMU. The youth of Bangladesh can be empowered by using the physical and mental spirit of Saemaul of Republic of Korea.
