Аннотация: Idea of the development of book on the Cerebral Palsy (CP) was conceived after handling a quite number of Cerebral Palsy patients during my PG and even during my academic – clinical life. CP occurs in a particular patient but it affects their parents, family and society too. The quality of life of the family becomes very poor. The book is presented to give information of etiology, pathology, symptomatology, management and prevention of CP through modern and Ayurveda aspect. As Ayurveda is a science of individualize management of a diseased patient, many Panchakarma procedures and internal medication can be used in CP. Here this book tried to highlight, most effective and frequently used Panchakarma procedures and medication for the same. Ayurveda has many scopes in management of CP, but there is even vast scope in the prevention by educating society. Inappropriate Ritu, Kshetra, Ambu and Bija, negligence of urges during Dauhrida stage of pregnant women, and many more may have undesirable effects on the fetus which could be prevented by pursuing Ayurveda. I hope this book will be helpful for non medicos and medicos to understand this disease by Ayurveda perspective.
