Аннотация: This book is conducted during three and a half years of practical work and finalized in May 2010. The research was about the effect of (Application of plant tissue culture technique for production of tropane alkaloids from Datura innoxia Mill). The conducted experiments included: leaf explants sterilization, studying the effect of different combinations and concentrations of cytokinin (BA) and auxins (NAA and 2,4-D). The cultures were grown on MS medium with normal S0 (30 gl-1), S1 (15 gl- 1), and S2 (45 gl-1) sucrose. The MS media also contained 3 levels of salts, normal, half, and double salt strength i.e., X0, X1, and X2 respectively and all the cultures were placed in three local Aluminum made Growth Chambers maintained in an air-conditioned room at a temperature of 25±1 C°, the source of illumination in each chamber was with irradiance of 60–100 ?mol m–2s–1 provided by 1.25 feet white cool fluorescent tubes (20 watt).
