Аннотация: Over the last two decades, the continuous learning and development for organizations and individuals has become a more and more of a major challenge in terms of direct cost, time, location, and the Return on Investment (ROI) from the learning and development process. Tough economic times coupled with increasing market competition requiring higher competencies among both organizations and individuals required a cost effective solution that would allow for the continuous learning and development at minimum cost. While Elearning was seen as the savior to both individuals and organizations, it was not too long before poor return on investment was realized coupled with low learners’ acceptance. The result was that organizations refrained from using Elearning which resulted in many seeing Elearning as a failure. This book will explain the reasons behind such a roller-coaster ride by Elearning based on actual feedback from learners, training and learning managers, and Elearning vendors. Based on such findings, the recipe for success to revive Elearning will be introduced and discussed with a totally new pedagogical model.
