Аннотация: Preface The current study investigated the relationship between Iranian consecutive translators' level of resilience and their translation ability. For these purposes, 60 male and female consecutive translators from Mehrabad and Imam Khomeini airport centers were selected. Afterwards, Connor and Davidson's (2003) Resilience Scale and a translation test were administrated to the participants. In addition, in order to deeply investigate the translators' opinions about resilience and how they adopt themselves when they are facing with high stress conditions like consecutive translation, an unstructured interview was administrated. The results of the correlation analyses revealed that the levels of resilience had a significant relationship with the participants' translation ability. The results of qualitative data analysis represented that translators are more resilient or less resilient dependent on the context and addressee they are facing. The findings suggest some implications for translators and university teachers at translation studies' realm.
