Combating Human Trafficking in Ethiopia. The Roles, Practices, and Challenges of Electronic Media in supporting prevention against Human Trafficking

      Аннотация: Since the past couple of years, there are appalling issues that became a headache for our world. Global warming, terrorism, and economic crisis can be noted in this regards. All the same, it is not told much about human trafficking; it is identified as one of the major problems. With its obscure nature, human trafficking has impacted Ethiopia in terms of social, economic, and political spheres. Sadly enough, it takes away the life of numerous Ethiopian youngsters’. In the long run, this might poses difficulty on the continuity of the coming generation. Yet to the contrary, the solutions put into work are not to the level of the problem demanded.Majorly, in Ethiopia still these days a high emphasis is given to the application of hard tools (legal mechanisms...) rather than soft tools (includes Electronic media). I promise that this research oriented book is essential for every interested reader’s in general and for researchers, Media professionals, sociologists, human right organizations, and policy makers in particular. More specifically, since the book holds practical workable recommendations; it would be an asset for journalists who are working in Electronic Media stations.
