Аннотация: India is the leader in the world castor seed and its oil production. It contributes about 55 percent and 70 percent of world area and production, respectively. The castor oil is different from other vegetable oils in the sense that it does not freeze even under adverse temperatures of -120C to -180C.Therefore, considered as the best lubricating agent particularly for both high speed engines and aeroplanes.Castor oil is used in the high grade lubricants, paints, varnishes, textile dyeing, printing, perfumery, cosmetics, grease, polishes, plastic, soap, tooth paste, medicinal, industries, carbon paper, ether, synthetic resins for surface coating, synthetic rubber and synthetic fibers.
