      Аннотация: Nanotechnology belongs to the fastest growing area of science and technology. This monograph presents known applications and prospects for further use of nanotechnological solutions in food technology. The book presents essentials of nanotechnology, the role of nanotechnology in the food production beginning from the agricultural production up to the food technology. In the book the systematic discussion is given of raw materials, food products containing nanoparticles, and nanotechnological solutions applied in food nanotechnology. They are sheets, coating, apackages as well as species serving in the monitoring food quaklityand saety. A separate chapters are devoted to nanotechnology in nutrition, therapy and in cosmetology. Toxicity of nanoparticles and legal regulations are also discussed.
