      Аннотация: This book provides a global overview of the International Development Agencies and Community Development in theory and practice. It discusses the central issues in this field in relation to community development situation and challenges specific to Africa; Nigeria and Ebonyi State. The book offers an insight on the World Bank intervention strategies for poverty reduction in rural communities of Nigeria Particularly Ebonyi State. The effectiveness and shortcomings of the World Bank Intervention Programme and the impact it has on the rural communities as well as the overall human development is also considered throughout the publication.
