Cloud computing has become a highly demanded service or utility due to the advantages of fast computing power, low cost of services, high performance, scalability, accessibility as well as availability. But in cloud computing task scheduling and provision of resources are main problem areas. Therefore the research work is motivated to derive the task scheduling based on multi-objective genetic algorithm employs an improved cost-based scheduling algorithm for making efficient mapping of tasks to available resources in cloud computing environment.
