Аннотация: In this study 15 bacterial colonies obtained from various fermented milk products samples were isolated by serial dilation and crowded plate method. Then these 15 colonies were selected for secondary screening of antimicrobial production. Antibiogram analysis was performed by agar well diffusion method against three test pathogens viz., E.coli, S.aureus, S.typhi and P.aeroginosa. Culture MJDD09 was observed with clear and larger zone of inhibition against all pathogens. Then Antibiogram analysis of these cultures was performed by agar well diffusion method and disk diffusion method against 4 pathogens E.coli, S.typhi, S.aureus and P.aeroginosa. Culture MJDD09 was observed with clear zone of inhibition against all pathogens. This culture was selected for further production and purification. The selected culture was identified as Lactobacillus casei by Bergey’s Manual. Then comparative study was carried on selected culture. Production of antimicrobial metabolites was done by submerged fermentation. The extraction and purification of antimicrobial component from isolated culture was done by solvent extraction method.
