Bertrand Russell's Critique of Religion.

      Аннотация: The issue of Religion has remained a controversial one down the ages. Hence, the subject matter must be handled with care. However, one of the greatest figure of all season that launched a critical attack was Bertrand Russell. As an agnostic, he presents Religion as an enemy of man and hence a foe to knowledge and invention. He denies that human beings could know if God exist. On a closer look one finds out that Bertrand Russell remains a victim of unhealthy experiences that tended to display in his later life and Career. Russell remains guilty of reductionism as he made effort to reduce everything to nothing.With the same pessimism he attacks Christ, Christians and Christianity. The question remains; Is Religion bad? What has religion contributed to the Human Society? Can one really be proud of being a Christian? This work answers these questions and many others as posed by Russell in His "Why I am not a Christian" It suggests that We cannot deny everything, we cannot even deny the existence of God who remains the source of all that is.
