Problems concerning technological change. Within a middle sized hungarian entreprise

      Аннотация: The first part of the book provides suggestions for the commencement of an instant and drastic technological change. The proposal follows the multi-step process redesign for technological change suggested by the literature (Davenport – Short, 1990), taking into account the circumstances that led to the formation of the problems and the interest of the people involved in the technological change. People to be involved in the technological change have successfully been assigned appropriate roles, which has proven highly useful in designing the necessary steps of the solution. Compromise has played an important role in the outcome, because it ensures that the changes gain support from all sides. The second part of the proposal for resolving the problem, subsection 4.2, offers a solution that would ensure the non-recurrence of the problem in the future, and that it would eliminate the lack of communication within the company through formalised compulsory communication. The basic idea behind the two suggestions are completely different, however, during elaboration it became evident that the reorganisation of the company structure to a matrix structure and the BPR process overlap.
