Factors hindering Development Projects in Sri Lanka.

      Аннотация: Projects play an effective role in bringing the development in a country. Thus, projects get popularity not only in business organisations but also in public sector. However, there are instances where projects have failed to deliver the expected results within the time and cost due to numerous reasons. Which causes for time and cost overruns and those are the key reasons for inefficiency in project implementation. Therefore, the role of project managers and their responsibilities are vital for the implementation success in project executions. Thus, this book is a window of opportunity to know the critical factors for project success and failures not only in Sri Lanka but also in development countries around the globe. Especially, this book tries to identify the managerial reasons for project implementation success and failures. It is strongly believed that readers enable to understand the causes for both project success and failures as this book presenting scientific evidence through a research study instrumented by quantitative and qualitative research methodologies with the principles of PMBOK and other best practices in the field of project management.
