Аннотация: Wound healing and regeneration are a multifarious series of processes concerning the coordinated and cooperative efforts of various cell types. Recently, researchers apply new therapeutic strategies that proceed directly to subcellular and cellular levels throughout the healing and regeneration process. Various antimicrobials are difficult to move through cell membranes resulting insignificant microbicidal effects. Nanocarrier systems containing antimicrobial drug has emerged as a new alternate that enhanced therapeutic activity through infiltration into cell and decrease adverse effects of the drug. Antimicrobial drug loaded nanocarrier system have shown excellent result against resistant microbes because these are usually difficult to get rid of by conventional treatments. The book is intended to serve as a reference book for students, teachers, researchers as well as professionals who are willing to acquire detailed understanding of the antimicrobial loaded nanomaterials for wound healing and regeneration.
