Orofacial Infections and its Management.

      Аннотация: Odontogenic infections are common and primitive. It is necessary to control the spread of infection from tooth to fascial spaces and from one space to another, through the knowledge of anatomy, microbiology and role of host defense mechanism is necessary. Infection always follows the path of least resistance. Early detection, understanding of when and how to intervene, re-hydration of patient and judicious use of antibiotics play a crucial role in controlling the spread of odontogenic infections. Infections of dental origin are common in humans. They have plagued humans for as long as our species has existed. These infections are painful, disturb function & aesthetics, and sometimes, are life threatening. This book will aid in a better understanding of odontogenic infections, fascial spaces, their anatomy, microbiology, spread & treatment.
