Аннотация: Introduction to the Kinetic Studies of Heterogeneous Catalytic Conversion of Isopropanol A series of Ni, Mo and Ni-Mo supported over alumina catalysts were prepared by impregnation with different wt. ratios % (the total metal 20 wt. % supported over alumina 80 wt. %). The textural characteristic properties (surface area and pore size distribution), phase structures (XRD), thermal measurements (TGA) and (DSC) were investigated for all prepared solids. The heterogeneous catalytic study for the investigated catalysts were measured through isopropanol conversion in flow system under normal pressure at temperatures ranged 280 – 360 degree and space velocities ranged 11.60 - 18.40 x 10-2 min-1. The products were analyzed by GLC indicating the presence of propene , diethylether, acetaldehyde , acetone, isopropylether and unreacted isopropanol .The kinetics proceeded through zero order reaction. The activation energy, the activity, the selectivity and the effect of products were discussed and polymolecular mechanism was proposed.
