Аннотация: The economic sharing of load among thermal generating units leads to significant revenue savings for utilities. The Economic Load Dispatch is a complex,non-linear optimization problem governed by several constraints. The application of Particle Swarm Optimization with some modifications provides better generation scheduling resulting in fast and more economic solutions as against other classical optimization techniques.
