Inhibition of tumor growth by blocking angiogenesis and Ras activity. Drug Discovery and Development in Cancer Research

      Аннотация: The discovery and development of novel small molecule drugs to fight cancer is a challenging task. This book shows the whole path, from the hit identification and hit-to-lead process to the preclinical studies, required to validate therapeutic targets and to develop novel anticancer treatments that could potentially reach the clinic. Here, two new series of compounds are described: a family of antiangiogenic compounds, and a series of ICMT inhibitors that block Ras activity.
