Аннотация: Much higher area data throughput is required in future cellular networks, since the global demand for wireless data traffic is continuously growing. This goal can be achieved without the need for more bandwidth or additional base stations (BS) if the spectral efficiency (SE) bit/s/Hz is improved. This text book explains the importance of improving the SE analysis in MU-MIMO LTE cellular systems and why the multiuser MIMO communication technology, where multi-antenna BSs spatially multiplex a multitude of user terminals (UTs) over the entire bandwidth, is well-suited for this purpose. In this book, the system performance metric such as throughput, spectrum efficiency and scheduling for enhancements of MU MIMO LTE systems was studied and analyzed. Further, these performances were studied under different channel conditions, capacity analysis; transmit diversity, spatial multiplexing and sum rate calculation used to enhance the performance of LTE systems.
