Аннотация: This Book generally discusses the global menace of terrorism as it affects India and Nigeria. It comparatively and critically analysed the respective anti-terrorism laws previously applied and currently being applied by the sister countries in their responses to the subversive activities of terrorists & their impacts on the human rights of the people. Inter alia, the author argues that what distinguishes the war of a State from the war of its enemies (terrorists) is that whereas the State fights upholding the law, its enemies fights violating the law. But how should the State arm its security outfits with adequate powers to halt terror in the society and, at the same time, take all necessary measures to ensure that the granted powers are not abused? Simply put, one main objective set out, achieved and put forward by this author in this Book is the discovery of better counter-terrorism approaches that India & Nigeria need to adopt in order to check the spread of terrorism and minimise human rights violations of their respective citizens (and non-citizens alike), while enforcing the juxtaposed anti-terrorism laws. To find out the 'how' and much more, grab copies of this unique piece.
