The Paradise of North Nias Island, Medan, Indonesia. Pluralistic and Harmony Phenomenon of Life

      Аннотация: There are several cultural products as a result of assimilation, adaptation and accommodation that occur at the ceremony of marriage and art (dance, music and carvings)especially in North Nias, Medan, Indonesia. The resulting cultural product is a unifying tool to redefine the expression of the culture of origin to express its identity.Adaptation that occurs in North Nias community is between the local communities and the immigrants which do not see any cultural differences. In this case, the silat culture of the immigrant community (Ndrawa) and the local war dance (Ono Niha) have mingled and formed a new culture. Thus the culture that exists within each group (local and immigrant) is combined into one that is called Aleale. The marriage of immigrant communities is one of the most effective ways to carry out the cultural accommodation processes for the migrant communities (Ndrawa). The accommodation process also allows the immigrant community culture to get recognition from the local people (Ono Niha).Talifus? serves as a tool for a conflict resolution. In addition, Talifus? also serves in maintaining the solidarity between the local and the migrant communities.
