Managing Soil Health for Sustainable High Productivity.

      Аннотация: This book is giving the information on Soil Quality, Soil Health, Soil Fertility and Soil Productivity. The soil health also involves in sustainable farming systems. Soil health is established through interaction of the soil physical, chemical and biological properties. The different functions like biodiversity, production, water & solute flow, filtering, buffering, nutrient cycling and structural support also includes in the soil quality. The soil health indicate the good tilth, sufficient depth, macro & micro nutrients, good drainage and low weed problem. The biofertilizer, chemical fertilizer, cultural practices and organic practices are the new approaches to improve soil quality. The different types of research work was conducted. Finally the soil health card was prepared which indicate the soil health. Soil testing play a major role for soil health. By soil testing we can measure the quality and health of the soil. By soil testing we can apply fertilizer in adequate and appropriate amount to the soil. It maintain the soil health and cannot affect the fertility status of the soil. So the good soil fertility play a major role for good productivity in the soil.
