The Quest for an Alternative Paradigm…. Thoughts and Questions On Worldview, Knowledge and Civilization

      Аннотация: This collective work which was originally authored in Arabic, mainly by Dr. Mohammed Babaammi, and Dr. Taha Kouzi, is a summary of an intellectual Journey that has started many years ago in which many issues and questions have been brought about, this journey is also a result of a collective attempt in order to approach the right questions as well as an appropriate diagnosis and eventually, a consistent understanding of the civilizational stage of Muslims today as well as the crises that keep drowning this body to an endless quagmire. On the other hand, it is a representation of a paradigm of thought that was shaped on the ground of an ‘Islamic Worldview’ that is inspired from the heritage which starts from the first word of revelation and goes on up to the contemporary scholars and thinkers who have strived to pave the road for the coming generations in order to better understand their identity, role and position in the course of history. Beyond that, it seeks knowledge and wisdom from the different streams of humanity, and joins the voice of thinkers, scholars and activists in their struggle against the injustice and the dehumanization of man.
