Land Fragmentation and the Peoples' Social Welfare.

      Аннотация: This research has the following objectives. The main objective was to investigate how peoples’ welfare is impacted by land fragmentation, supported by specific objectives which were: 1. To find out the causes of land fragmentation; 2.To analyze the opportunities and constraints associated with land fragmentation; 3. To suggest strategies of reducing land fragmentation. The significance of the study was: 1.The research will help the policy makers like C.D.Os/ planners to advice ways to end land fragmentation, since the people suggested they will better reduce the practice of land fragmentation; 2.The research will help the local community leaders to solve the constraints of land fragmentation; 3.It will also enable the researcher to attain a degree in development studies of Kyambogo University, because it is one of the requirements that he must fulfill for the graduation; 4.It will be used by future researchers who will be carrying out researches on related topics to land fragmentation and peoples’ welfare.
