Skin Colour Complex and African Conflicts. Genealogy and Social Construction of Black Africans in the Diaspora in the Mediterranean, Middle East and Asia

      Аннотация: Key pointers to Liberation Theology and Sustainable Spirituality are the two principal weapons of mass construction that emerge from this well written work by Nigerian anthropologist Dr. Elias Nankap Lamle. The Bible and the Holy Koran are getting a relook in which the author has tried his best to participate in the liberation of the Holy books from being less correctly interpreted by those blessed with light that is progressively increasing. Michael Angelo’s depiction of God, angels and saints are also brought under the scanner for further critical examination. The book opens a window for the study of the history of migration and minorities, culture and development studies, maritime history, missionary enterprise, international trade and commerce in luxury items and in the transaction and transportation of able-bodied Africans to every nook and corner of the known world. The present-day Afro-Indians in the Junagadh District in Gujarat on the Arabian seafront in Western India and the Siddis of Yellapur in the Karnataka State in South West India are descendants of African migrants of the bygone centuries.
