      Аннотация: The exertion covers the data based information of the plants used by the tribal community inhabiting in Puravilai Hills, the reserve forest of Kanyakumari District. The therapeutic usage of plants highlights the art of healing of the Kani tribe, mentions the interesting ethnic mysterious believes, about the usage and healing properties of the preparation and mode of application. Ethnobotanical approach highlights the peculiar tradition; an important attribute of Kani’s medical system is that they forward some instructions which must be strictly followed by the patient during the period of treatment.
