Use of E-Journal in University of Delhi. By Research Scholar and Faculty Member in Central Institute of Education, University of Delhi, Delhi: A Study

      Аннотация: Due to tremendous change in information and communication technology (ICT), research activities have undergone significant changes around the world, which has led to focus on multidisciplinary research. These developments in ICT era have led to the emergence of brought E-Journals as a boon to research community which has become a vital source of reliable information to scholarly community. E-Journals become an inevitable tool for teaching, learning and research activities. The new generations of learners are harnessing e-mode to keep them up-to-date and well informed in their respective specialized fields. Thus, E-Journals are providing an invaluable asset for any library to provide best services for meeting the information needs of its users' community. E-Journal is -"An online journal publication", often scholarly, that is made accessible in a computerized format and distributed over the internet. E-Journal are preferred by libraries and users as they offers tremendous possibilities and advantage compared to the printed journals like multi access, shareable across labs, hyperlinks to related articles or multimedia content and the downloading and printing of articles.
