Аннотация: The specific objectives of this study were: to determine the extent to which the church plays a role in promoting ethics and integrity in the management of community based savings and credit cooperative societies in Nyahururu town, to assess the extent the church has invested in community based savings and credit cooperative societies in Nyahururu town, to establish the role of church investments on the performance of community based savings and credit cooperatives in Nyahururu town, to investigate the role played by the church in providing leadership to community based savings and credit cooperatives in Nyahururu town. The findings of this study will be essential in making the church realize and appreciate its advocacy role in the community through the existing community based SACCOs. The church will then be in a position to participate more in shaping the social and economic wellbeing of the community in which they are serving.
