Аннотация: Indeed the image of the Zambia Police Service has over the years suffered persistent accusations from the public of corruption by police officers in most of their dealings particularly Traffic Officers in Road Blocks or Check Points. Time and again concerned citizens have expressed worry at the high levels of corrupt practices involving Traffic Police Officers and the Public Service Vehicles Drivers at Road Blocks. This prompted the author to carry out an investigation over the scourge. The Zambia Police Service was established to ensure the enforcement of law, provision of security to the people and property, maintenance of peace and order, traffic management, detection of crime as well as bringing the offenders to book. On the other hand the transporters have a significant role in economic growth of the country. Corruption has an adverse effect on the economic growth. Over 150 people were interviewed to come up with this book. The targeted group for this book includes Police Officers, Business personnel, Non-Government Organisations, Mororists and all those who have interest in the fight against corruption worldwide.
