Critical Reviews of Ethiopian and Eritrean Studies.

      Аннотация: Though it takes a lot of thought to digest and to produce descriptive and analytical book reviews in abridged form, sharing book reviews is a worthwhile experience. Using the hallmarks of the scientific method, the Critical Reviews of Ethiopian and Eritrean Studies provides readers a scholarly reflection of seven leading writers. Emphasis has been placed on creating an awareness of the evolving patterns that uniquely characterize the current and future context of Ethiopia and Eritrea. In so doing, the reviewer of this book has endeavored to accomplish the following objectives: * to broaden readers knowledge and improve their skill set about Ethiopia and Eritrea; * to help readers learn more about the current socio-economic and political situations in Ethiopia and Eritrea; * to help readers know the strengths and limitations of the seven studies that are under review; * to help faculty members remain current in the literature before they require their students to buy the reviewed books for their classes; and * to explore some of the issues that will influence sustainable growth of Ethiopia and Eritrea in the future.
