E-learning in Higher Education. How Smart Devices Bring Renaissance in e-Course Designing & E-Learning Education System Performance Level

      Аннотация: This book evaluates the key factors pertaining to e-Learning education in Saudi Arabian universities especially in Northern Border University (NBU). From a survey for the evaluation of faculty trainings to design e-courses for university faculty members’ skill enhancement to doing a comparative study between conventional & e-Learning monitoring methods for the university level projects, this book focuses on the faculty skill development steps through e-Learning in the higher education sector. Social networking sites are beyond their conventional uses today thus they became integral parts of education management plans now. This book researches such use of social networking sites in higher education in the NBU context. Besides highlighting content development strategies, this book also describes the implementation of smartphones, tablets and their applications in the educational process management at NBU. Academic researches summed in a book shape for readers, it is aimed to critically evaluate e-Learning in the context of latest smart technology tools for content management besides evaluating the importance of faculty skill enhancement initiatives.
