      Аннотация: Leadership affects every sector of the economy. This is not just a book for the logistics and transport sector; it is a book for every other economic sector and indeed the polity. A great work that reflects lot of effort, dedication, and painstaking research. It shifts the spotlight from management onto the often ignored but yet invaluable concept of leadership. It is an analyzed fact and a convenient truth that leadership is the solution to the myriad of problems of societies; especially the logistics and transport sector in the developing countries where practitioners indulge in management with associated management malpractices and deliberate mismanagement to limit the optimum performances of operations. However, few people would liken leadership itself with logistics and transport and the sector itself is guilty of indulging in limited management. This book is a demonstration of the fact that too expanse and people-oriented activities like logistics and transport cannot be managed. The work has emphasized that logistics and transport systems cannot be managed in entirety by individuals or groups without due consideration to leadership.
