Dentogenic concept is an adventure in the realm of cosmetic art. It was once written that we greet the world with our faces. The face is the most visible part of the human anatomy, and it is the face, which helps to determine our social acceptance, confidence and self respect. Facial appearance is of great concern to everyone, for it is a significant part of self-image. The loss of teeth, because of the effect on facial appearance, often creates tremendous psychological trauma to the patient. The prosthesis can either enhance or distract from the patient’s personal image, depending upon the naturalness and attractiveness of its appearance.
