      Аннотация: Over the last few decades, schools have been led in a way that has not focused on the prime business of schooling, teaching and learning. Traditional school leadership styles have not been as effective as hoped. The leadership adopted theories derived from the leadership and management of industry and commerce. Most of the theories have been inappropriately implemented in school settings. Instructional Leadership is the leadership that focuses on the prime business of schooling, teaching and learning and it has consistently proved itself to be the most effective school leadership so far, indirectly boosting student achievement growth. This book, therefore, provides theories and research findings on instructional leadership practices of effective school principals. The extent to which they practice instructional leadership functions, and the way in which they practice them are clearly presented in this book.
