All investments are not profitable because you will not always make correct investment decision. However, in long run, investors should earn a positive return on their investments.This book, ‘Investment Avenues in India’is written keeping all these things in mind. It is divided into seven Chapters. It covers topics like objectives of investment, types of investors and investment process in its first chapter. Indian Financial System is explained in chapter two.Chapter three,four and five highlight different investment avenues such as, Gold, Shares, Land, Bonds, Government Securities and Fixed Deposits with Banks.Chapter six and seven focus on Guidelines and Regulatory Framework available to protect the interest of investors in India. Thus, primary aim of this book is to make investing less difficult by explaining different terms, by elucidating the possible (major) alternatives of investments and simple guidelines for small investors. This book helps to reduce chances of making uninformed investment decisions.
