Fundamentals of Leadership and Training for Development in Africa.

      Аннотация: People, communities, organisations and nations fail largely due to lack of leadership, or the inadequate training therein. There is need, therefore, to address in a systematic manner, what one needs to understand and do at any time in order to lead successfully and effectively. For Africa, this is crucial: the continent has for long suffered from leadership failure, and if a book exists to train leaders of the future, especially within the professional development sector as this one does, the future will be in good hands. Africa's dreams have been dashed too often, and life cannot just continue on that path. With a book like this one, which articulates the ideas informed by the quest for leadership, teaching potential leaders what to do and how to do it as an antidote to failure in leadership positions must really be a most valuable contribution to the development of Africa. Africa's precious resources and people can be better managed to bring to fruition the better individuals, communities and nations she has yearned for over the years.
