      Аннотация: India is the world’s largest producer of dairy products by volume, accounting for more than 13% of world’s total milk production. As the country consumes almost all of its own milk production. The cooperative societies are playing an important role in the Indian dairy industry. In particular these societies have been helping the economic conditions of Indian women by providing them employment and income generating opportunities. Large number of Indian women workers in unorganized sector which is unable to provide any sustainable benefits or social security. Cooperatives attempt to balance individuals’ needs with those of the community as a whole by encouraging individual empowerment within the structure of membership and responsibility to the group. This book is aimed to highlight the operational and financial performance of Mulkanoor Women Co-operative Dairy; analyze the production and cost of production of the suppliers of milk; understand the supplier’s perception of the Mulkanoor Women Co-operative Dairy and the consumers’ satisfaction about the milk and milk products of Mulkanoor Women Co-operative Dairy.
