Аннотация: This commentary depicts the compositional method of the various decorations of folk garments and textiles in Gjakova Highland, reckoning it as a constant interest in the view of their decorative aspect in setting the proportion of the different stripes and patterns. In the domain of Applied Arts, Gjakova Highland is similar to Has.This feeling of joy and the decorative diversity bringing it about opens a world of symmetries, colors, movements and emotional experiences that constitute a system of its own, and also form a powerful unit of representation in regional level, reaching to a national level representation within the specific decorative typology. The abstractive power of these decorations is highly noticed, which shows that the highlander, through his humble life, beyond the simplicity, has wanted and has managed to see the complicated, the possible, aiming to get out of the ordinary by using the ornamental aspect. The interest as regards compositions and spaces where the composing image is to be created is an aspect that implies the distinguishing solemnity and talent of the folk artisans that fused and harmonized the art of composition to the smallest details.
