Аннотация: This book is dedicated to the children of Africa. It collects edited and revised versions of most of the papers presented at the second and third International Conference on Sustainable Alternatives for Poverty Reduction and Ecological Justice in 2014 and 2016 respectively in Madagascar and Uganda. The selected seventy paper proposals are classified in twelve thematic sections; (1) Religion and peace building; (2) Science and sustainability; (3) Information and Communication Technology (ICT) against poverty; (4) Higher education and sustainable development; (5) Community response to poverty; (6) Education and poverty; (7) Sustainable Management; (8) Gender issues and poverty; (9) Ecological ethics and sustainability; (10) Rural development and eco-justice; (11) Climate change, finance and poverty; (12) Case studies of alternativs for poverty alleviation. The expected perspective for the publication of this book is to promote collaboration between theology and applied science in order to find solutions to poverty and environmental problems.
