Аннотация: Alcohol and drugs consumption among the youth and underage is a major catastrophe with half of the users aged between 10 and 19 years globally. Having tasted first sip of alcohol back in 1995, Edwin, now a Certified Addiction Professional knows this too well, he started as an experiment and turned out to be something else. He finished high school, went for further studies in India and graduated with B.Com degree (University of Madras); in India he would drink occasionally but on returning home, frustrations turned him to more drinking. Addiction then built steadily and before realization he became a morning, afternoon and evening drinker. By now Alcohol was not a party drug anymore neither was it for fun but out of necessity for the body to function. Getting over an addiction is not an easy thing with 1 out of 5 coming out successful as he explains in this book; in most cases its a journey that involves others especially family members. Sober for years now, his life has changed beyond belief, Edwin is married, a father of three, graduated in M.A in Project Planning and Management (Univ. of Nairobi Dec 2017), Certified Addiction Professional and the Director UHAI CENTRE in Kenya.
