Аннотация: The study of war, peace and conflict is gender biased. It is widely perceived that male is the architect of the war and peace. However, the changing character of the international politics has altered the traditional notion of the peace and conflict and acknowledged contribution and suffering of the women during war and conflict. Moreover, women have the inherent capacity to work for conflict management and peace-building during and after the war and conflict. This curriculum on “Gender, Peace and Conflict" is dedicated to discussing the concerning issue of the role of the women in conflict resolution and peace-building. This course constitutes ideas in ‘Gender Theories’ to explicate some important issues like gender, gender in international relations theories and practices, gender and conflict, violence against women in conflict and war and the role and significance of women in conflict resolution. It examines the complex relationships of gender and peace and how women play a significant role in peacekeeping and peace-building.
