      Аннотация: Piroxicam is an oxicam derivative belonging to NSAIDs group that can be purchased over - the - counter. It acts as a pain reliever and curbs inflammatory conditions like arthritis. This drug is arguably the common cause of Drug Induced Liver Injury (DILI). This book discusses the medicinal value of Hibiscus in ameliorating DILI. Hibiscus has long valued for its medicinal properties and plant-derived antioxidants, particularly leaves, is considered as an alternative strategy for improving drug-induced oxidative damage. This book provides a well thought-out approach to unravel the important aspects of drug toxicity and their amelioration by naturally occurring antioxidants.
