Hacking is an attempt to control a computer system or a private network inside a computer. Basically, it is the illegal access to computer network security systems for some illegitimate purpose. A secure system should provide several assurances such as confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data as well as non-repudiation and legitimacy. Computer Security, also known as cybersecurity, is the protection of information systems from theft or damage to the hardware, the software, and to the information on them, as well as from disruption or misdirection of the services they provide. Cryptography tools are very helpful to secure the network system and protect IT assets, confidential data and information. Effective network security manages access to the network. It targets a variety of threats and stops them from entering or spreading on your network. Network security is concerned with the protection of network resources against alteration; devastation and unauthorized use, cryptography and encryption are most critical components of network security.
